SMTP server Troubleshooting
Solution
1. Run the smtpTest.bat file to troubleshoot SMTP server configuration .
2. Open a command prompt , go to the AppManager8\bin\troubleshooting directory .
3. Execute the smtpTest.bat and send the output in reply to this email.
Usage : smtpTest.bat [HostName / Ip] [Port Number] [Timeout] [HostName / Ip] HostName or Ipaddress of machine where smtp server is running [Port Number] Port number of the smtp server [Timeout]
Time out value in seconds to be used for connecting to smtp server. Default value is 5 secondsC:\Program Files\AdventNet\ME\AppManager7\bin\troubleshooting>smtpTest.bat appmanmtp 25 5Connecting to SMTP server : appman @ port 25Socket openened successfullyChecking if we are able to receive dataMail Server is discovered successfullyCheck if you get the output like this
